I've downloaded all the new programs that I purchased with the computer including Adobe Photoshop Elements 11...I'm soooooo excited about this one, maybe I can learn to

Yay for you Pendra. I am excited for you. I intend to do the same this year, so I can get rid of this big clunky desk and all the wires. But the unknown scares me because everything changes. The older I get the less change I like. :( I shall be watching your progress. xo
Very cute post, Pendra. I feel your pain. I hate to update and only do so when I have too. Good luck to you. No, I cannot help with tech issues, but I hope you get it figured out pretty soon. Let us know if you learn Photoshop. Maybe you will do a few tutorials.

I know it's a bit outdated, but could you use a card reader?
Adobe Photoshop is easy to use. I have it on my school computer for doing the yearbook and it is very intuitive.

What kind of laptop did you get? I hope it's an apple because they are so user friendly. I think you're doing great figuring everything out on your own. Fortunately I have inhouse (my kids) help!!

Good for you - I can practically hear those brain cells stretching! A few weeks ago I, too, got a new laptop and have had quite a few (mis)adventures. You'll be so proud of yourself when you begin to feel comfortable with it. Learning is fun, right?! -- Jan

Congrats on your new computer. Sounds like you are well on your way.
Blogger always has something up with it and hopefully you can preview soon. I know they did move where it used to be. Now it is in the upper right hand corner instead of straight above the post where you write it.
You will love doing your pics with photoshop. I use picmonkey and photoscape and love them both.

Well, I sure am impressed with your techy accomplishments! Way to go! My frustration with computers is that actual paper manuals do not come with it. Call me old-fashioned but I miss having something concrete in my hands! Good luck and rock on with your bad self!! LOL

So far so good I would say my friend! I love my laptop and its mobility. However I am not so computer savvy. My kids normally have to guide me through the computer stuff. I have an ipod and forget it....I know how to take a pic and that's about it! Diane
